GOVERNMENT BEGINS MAILING STIMULUS CHECKS ON May 5th.

It's true. The long awaited event is upon us. The government will begin mailing the Stimulus Checks on May 5^th. They will be sent according to the last four digits of a social security card. Those with low numbers will receive theirs first.

The checks will be received by millions of Americans who will individually spend their unexpected gift in different ways.

Of the Stimulus Checks, SOME WILL:

1. Go to the gambling casinos

2. Go to China (a lot of it, note the merchandise in Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, Target, etc., ­Made in China)

3. Pay debts, reducing Credit Card bills and other financial obligations.

4. Buy furniture and other household items

5. Be saved, to add to estates, or to be used on a rainy day

6. Do house repairs

7. Purchase groceries or other essentials

8. Make a vacation possible

Something is missing in the preceding uses. It's fairly obvious, GOD. Will the millions of recipients of the checks give Him anything? Most people won’t. Hopefully and Prayerfully the members of our church will give a worthy portion of their individual gift stimulus check to the Building Project which could use a boost. Give for the same reason that Linda and I shall be giving, because you love God and His work. Make this a stimulus summer for our building program.
